Icelands most famous roundup

One of Iceland's most famous horse roundups, Laufskálarétt, is a regular feature on the last weekend in September. Crowds of visitors come to Skagafjörður, flocking to the horse corral in Hjaltadalur valley to enjoy the special atmosphere. Excitement also runs high at Hotel Varmahlíð, where on both Friday and Saturday evenings we start with a wonderful selection of food and then dance away the night.
